MOONJOON Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") develops and operates the Korean Janggi for Seniorsapplication (the "Service"). We value your privacy and comply with applicable laws, including the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea.

1. Information We Collect

(1) Phone Number Verification (Optional)

• Mobile phone number, nickname

Phone number verification is optional. All gameplay features are available without verification, in which case no personal information is transmitted to our servers and all data is stored only on your device.

(2) Collected Automatically — Verified Users Only

• Game records (match notation), match history, and rank statistics
• App installation identifier, installation date, and app version
• Push notification token (FCM)

(3) Premium Purchase

• Purchase status and purchase date

Payments are processed by the Google Play billing system. We do not collect or store payment details such as card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Identity verification and account identification (phone number verification)
• Cloud backup of game records, match history, and rank, and restoration when changing devices
• Sending push notifications (app news and event announcements)
• Verifying premium purchases and preventing fraudulent use
• (Planned) Online matches and ranking services

3. Data Retention

• Your personal information is deleted without delay when you delete your account.
• However, where retention is required by applicable laws, we retain the information for the period prescribed by such laws.

4. Data Processors and International Transfers

We entrust the following processors with personal information processing to provide the Service. Some processors operate servers outside the Republic of Korea.

The transferred items are limited to those listed in Section 1, and the purposes of transfer are limited to those described in Section 2.

5. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not provide your personal information to third parties, except for the processors listed in Section 4.

6. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time.

• Account deletion: You can delete your account directly in the app via [Settings > Delete Account] (processed immediately). Deleting your account removes all personal information stored on our servers, including your phone number, nickname, game records, and match history.
• Records stored on your device are not affected by account deletion and are removed when you uninstall the app.
• Deletion request by email: Send your registered phone number to support@moonjoon.co.kr and we will process your request.

7. Data Security

• Personal information is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/HTTPS).
• Access to personal information is restricted to the minimum number of personnel.
• We do not collect or store payment details such as card numbers.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 14 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If this policy changes, we will notify users through in-app notices or this page.
